Lab Overview

Each week students in the the Human Physiology Lab (BIOS 213L) participate in 1 two-hour fifty-minute lab session. During this time students utilize various pieces of equipment, such as oscilloscopes, stimulators, force transducers and various computer and software our-programs to learn and understand human physiology. Each lab session is taught by a Physiology TA, and Physiology Interns help to teach and review physiological concepts throughout the lab. Group participation is emphasized during each lab meeting and is critical for students' success. The TAs and Interns provide guidance one-on-one and in small groups to clarify difficult concepts, and to address the concerns of the students.
