Chapter 2
During the second week of lab, students continue reviewing the general concepts of diffusion, net diffusion and osmosis. They also learn about tonicity and how to relate the concentration of one solution compared to another (hypotonic, isotonic and hypertonic). Lastly students look at what factors affect membrane permeability.
